Founded in 2012 by Interior Designer Ruth Turner-Jones, we offer a range of Commercial and Domestic interior design services.
We are based in Milton Keynes and cover Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire
New builds: We can help at the initial stage of your house building journey and can liaise with architects to create an interior layout that flows well and uses every inch of space to its maximum.
Existing Spaces: We can help with both the look and the flow of an existing property and will advise on knocking down walls or even minor changes such as changing the way a door swings, in order to get the best from a space. We will also make your home look the best it possibly can, while listening to all your needs and tastes.
We have 3 levels of service we can provide. The initial consultation is free and is to get an idea as to what is required. From there we have 3 options:
Design only: This is for clients who just want us to provide a design from a single room to a whole property. We will hand over the design in the shape of a moodboard, and a 3D visual for you to source and implement yourself. We will work with you to create a space that you love.
The fee for this service depends on the amount of work required and how many rooms. But for a single room which will cover wall colours and/or wallpaper, lighting, flooring, curtains and blinds, soft furnishings and furniture our fees start from as little as £300. A 50% deposit is payable before work commences and the outstanding amount due when we hand the designs over.
Design and Plan: This service is for clients who would like us to provide the design but also want to go one stage further. For this we will provide designs, but will also source items and provide a detailed decorating/furniture/lighting and flooring plan. This will be budgeted so you know how much the whole scheme will cost. Our involvement can end here for you to give the plans to your own decorators or tradesmen
The fee for this service depends on how much work is required, but for a single room the fee will start at £650. Again a 50% deposit is payable before the work starts and the rest once the designs and plan have been handed over.
Project Coordination: This service is designed for clients who would like us to implement the whole scheme from the initial design to liaising with tradesmen to coordinating the final look. This service is perfect if you are time poor, live abroad or simply need help with organising tradesmen or ordering furniture, curtains etc.
The fee again depends on the amount of work involved but we will usually charge a percentage of the total amount of the work we manage, on top of the design and plan fee. This rate starts at 10%. For example if you would like us to arrange and manage a decorator, who charges £1500 for the work, we will charge £150 for this service.
Curtain, blind and soft furnishing making and sourcing.
Personal shopping for accessories such as mirrors, rugs etc
Providing tradesmen such as decorators, electricians or plumbers.
We can supply wallpaper, paint and accessories such as lamps and rugs. A deposit is taken before purchase and the outstanding upon delivery.
